Praxis Construction is owned and operated by Tim Belch. Tim started learning the ways of the construction industry when he was only 4 years old. He has always held a good intuition toward the improvement of the built world, learning the majority of his skills from his father, who has been a self-employed carpenter since 1990. Tim has worked a variety of jobs as an employee as well as a sub-trade, spanning the Residential, Institutional, Commercial, and Industrial sectors of the construction industry in Southern Ontario. He has also had the opportunity to take his skills abroad for projects in Ghana, Japan, and Mexico.
Tim spent some time at Conestoga College studying architecture and project management, before he started a general carpentry apprenticeship. In February of 2011 Tim received inter-provincial certification as a journeyman (Red Seal) General Carpenter. He loves the challenge every new day brings, and now believes the only way to maintain the drive to learn and keep ahead of the curve is by offering his own construction service.
